Proper age for breeding?

Hey guys. Stormy and Lizzy have been...well..up to no good :rofl: They seem like they want to mate, but im not sure if they are old enough. I already have a couple of friends/family that are interested if i do mate them..so just wondering..what would you guys recommend as a good breeding age? Right now they are hitting a year exactly. Are they still too young?

12 months of age is minimum for both male and female. Depending on the individual birds, sometimes 18 months is better. I would say Stormy and Lizzy are old enough for what they want to do. :)

Sounds great. Thanks Linda. Just didn't want them to be too young..maybe ill give it another month or 2 to be on the safe side
