Sometime between last night and late this morning Elphie passed her first egg. :omg: While she's always enjoyed shredding toys she had not built a nest, was not being overly territorial, did not look "eggnant" and had no qualms about me removing the egg (it was on the bottom of the cage and cracked, one maybe from impact but the other looked like she may have pecked it herself).
While I'm simply relieved that she passed the egg safely (she's her usual curious and active self), how common is it for these little sneaks to lay eggs without giving any warning signs? :confused: :omg:
