I just got a probiotic from my vet today. It is in liquid form. (its like brownish) Do i give it to him every day? What does this do to my bird.. Will i start seeing changes or anything? please let me know thanx

Yes, you give this to your lovebird every day for roughly 7-10 days. Did your vet tell you to put it in his water? I usually use a powder and sprinkle it over the food.

You will not see any visible changes but what this is going to do is replace the good bacteria that were killed by the antibiotic you gave your bird to fight infection. Without this, your bird can be left open to getting a fungal infection because there's no good bacteria to counteract it.

my vet didnt say anything because he wasnt there... Ipicked it up..... thats why I was asking and on the bottle it doesnt even say for how many days... I asked them for how many days and they said they will ask the doc. Should i put it in the water or just give o.1ml to him. I gave it to him today without putting in the water.. its in liquid form
