Peaches is doing so good. I would not have believed that in two weeks she would be where she is already.
Even though I was told she preferred men, she seems to really like Kelly. At least landing on her and going for her ear rings. lol
She and Sophie have finally mellowed out a bit and I am happy to see that. Cricket how ever isn't too sure of her yet.
I get a kick out of how she will run to her cozy tent and hide if I reach in her cage. She will fly right out when I step aside though. Then step up from where she lands. No touching yet though.
I plan on getting her weighed in tomorrow morning with everybirdy else.
She is quite a character!

Peaches is absolutely adorable, Jim, and she's so lucky to have found a home with you and your family!

I will say that it looks like she's settling in very, very well. She's happy and acts like she's lived with you for a lifetime, which is a wonderful thing! :)

I am just blown away with her. She even let me weigh her this morning with the rest of my birds. Just amazing.

Isn't it great when they settle right in? Mellowed out or not, keep the photos/videos coming. I can't get enough of your flock!

Our Sayuri came home a within a day or so of Peaches and its like she's always been here. Kokoro is enchanted with her, Benny is in LURVE with her (he calls her Surri SWEEEETHEART! Pretty-pretty-pretty-pretty bird-click-click-click) and seems to feel a confusing mix of fatherly and suitor-ish love for her. Even the lovebirds chat with her instead of chasing her off like they do with everybirdie else...
