Not so good to the last drop

So this morning I was doing my usual reading forums and drinking coffee when I got a phone call and distracted.I sat my coffee on the floor on the side of my lazyboy and went to grab a pen to write a number down.Got off the phone and went back to reading and drinking my coffee which was down to the last bit so I took one last swallow and realized there was something unusual in my cup so I spit it out.

In the short time from when I had put the coffee down one of my birds had taken a big turd in my cup blah.Anyone else ever find poo in their drink?Lol 20 plus years of owning birds and this was a first for me.Ugh I don't care if I get bird poo on me but in me ewwwww.

Ohhh, that's a good one! boy, they sure got you good, huh? I have a good one!......one time I noticed this dark spot on my boyfriend's chin. I told him he had something on his chin and he went to wipe it off to find that he had bird poop on his chin! How it got there? Well, turns out Ivy had pooped on my shoulder and he had hugged me and his chin somehow went in the poop! When he noticed it was bird poop on his face, he said.....just call me &*%$face!:rotfl

Cipher likes to pick up Legos and drop them in my coffee, and I have inadvertently swallowed several of the smaller ones (brat bird). He also likes to splash around in the last little dregs of coffee in the cup when I'm not looking, so he gets a good rinse-off in the sink afterwards.

Awww gross.

Never drank anything with poo in it... but,

I am usually pretty good about washing my hands after I handle the birds, and checking my clothes. So this time I must have missed one (saw a squashed turd on my shirt afterward)- was eating finger foods with Chris and noticed some time into it that I had a big squashed poo all over my hand.

Not quite as nasty as that, but I think I know the feeling. I will NEVER drink a beverage that has been unattended again after almost drinking a live bee- it was IN MY MOUTH- at a field hockey game in middle school. We're never the same after this sort of incident!
