My darling husband wanted me to ask the experts.

Is jack happy here or is he telling us off?

my bird does that, but usually its because she's ticked that i havent let her out, and she doesnt sit calmly while doing it!

Jack is happy and he's sitting contentedly, singing. A pissed off parrot is not only vocal but they tend to beome animated, as well. If Jack were telling you off, he would get his point across very clearly!!! :)

exactly! it's so interesting to me how the sound can be the same, but because my girl makes it while throwing her toys around and scrambling up and down, it's an angry noise!:rotfl

Awww I'm so pleased he is a happy chappy! I'll be sure to tell the darling husband when he gets home.

In the early mornings, while it's still cool outside i put his cage outside so he can here the lorikeets and honey suckers talk. He loves it!

At 36 seconds my Sticky makes that noise, I always think it is because he is happy :)

I'd say it's happy chirping, too. Most angry birds I've seen are really active with much feather shaking and tailfeathers moving side to side.

my bird must be the angriest bird on the forum!

Cabo never shuts his beak unless he's under water. (he dives in head first for his bath and comes up on the other side of his tub like he's a penguin.) He is the noisiest sleeping bird I have ever heard in my life. :)
