When I posted Johari's many persona, I forgot her most "unique" one--Puppy!
I've seen parrots toss their toys around, but I've never seen one shake things before. She likes to get things in her beak and shake them, just like a puppy with a chew toy. Little, rapid shakes, so rapid it verges on vibration. It's really cute. Fabric and paper are her favorites, but I've seen her shake my glasses, by the ear pieces (glasses NOT on my face) bottle caps, kleenex, hanging toys. The one fly in the ointment is that shaking fabric seems to be especially fun when the fabric is on my person & the beakful includes a bit of skin. In fact, bare skin seems to also be an appealing thing to shake! :omg: She really is quite a nipper!!!!
