Hi! We just got our first two lovebirds (a latino and green pf) and love them! :) Actually, we love them so much, it leads to my first question. We weren't happy with the first cage we got (too flimsy) and ordered another one that's nice and big. So of course we'd like to know if we can put more than one pair in it? They'll all be from the same breeder so I know they'll be healthy. But do lovebirds hate living with more than one other bird? The dimensions of the cage are 32 x 20 x 38. What do you think?
Next question is silly. I've been talking to them, trying to get them to relax and be happy and comfortable in their new home. Well, today I tried a different sound that certainly got their attention. I call them my "little beepers" because their sound is like a beep to me. So I decided to try a high-pitched "beepbeepbeepbeep" sound at them and they immediately got very excited and started beeping back at me! Was I annoying them? Scaring them? Did they maybe actually like it? I'm not familiar with what sounds mean what to them, so I don't want to be driving them nuts when I think they like it, which I think they do (?)
Thanks for any help. :)
