Got reminded of this today, my two absolutely freak out when I bring a roll of wrapping paper down from the top of the wardrobe! They get upset even when i'm wrapping the present, have to hide behind the bed! Had to grab it real quick this morning but they saw it!

No idea why, Bobble is more than happy to sneak up there and chew strips of them when she thinks i'm not watching!

Anything your birds are scared of?

They're scared of the silliest things! Such unpredictable creatures.
Pixel is afraid of the vacuum but that is to be expected, it's huge and loud. He's also afraid of kitty balls and tootbrushes. Such a freak :p

Ethel is terrified of daddy-long-legs which occasionally come inside from the garden. After seeing her in such a state about the bug, I'm really careful to close that screen door now.

White tissue paper infuriates Goofy lovebird.....>:....Get near him with it, and you will suffer consequences. ...B.B. lovebird could care less if it were to float onto his head. ...Scarey stuff? ...Fluffing out bedding/blankets are the number one for raising a panic. ... I have an idea that this, and perhaps the wrinkling of wrapping paper, might sound to some birds as though a flock of wild lovebird eating what-nots were heading their way! :omg:..............:)

Pip is not scared of anything! He's pretty fearless! He's been that way since day one when he shoved his way out of the front door of his cage within minutes of his previous owner leaving.....such a brave, bold little stinker! My tiels aren't afraid of too much either, maybe a loud noise might scare them from time to time, and sometimes they are afraid of new toys for when they first get put in their cage, but normally they aren't bothered by anything. Rudy is still afraid of people, and Ivy.....well, lets just say the list of things she is NOT afraid of is probably a better question! She's afraid of everything!

Beetle (lovebird) never seemed to be frightened of anything.

Pickle (Brotogeris), however, does not like florescent pink or me brushing my teeth near him. He will fly across the room if I give him a bright pink & yellow jingle to play with and TOTALLY freaked out when I walked in the room to check on him whilst brushing my teeth. I couldn't help but laugh, although I did feel terrible for frightening him!

Lovebirds hrmm.....they yell at alot of things but not afriad of anything besides a sudden loud noise.
The tiels, shadows and noises.....
The sun conures dont like anything snake shaped, branches palm leaves anything shaped like a coiled or semi coiled snake lol makes it hard when picking branches for thier cage!
