dr. foster and smith

i came home today to find an envelope from dr. foster and smith in my mailbox. i thought they sent me an invoice about my canceled order. but really, it was a condolence letter and the rainbow bridge poem. i thought that was so nice and sweet of them to send me that. i'm gonna write them a thank you letter later on tonight.

Rarely do companies bother with a personal touch anymore, it's so nice to hear that there's someone who actually responds like that!

i know, i think it was really nice of them to send me that. i mean, they have thousands of customers and to send me that was just so sweet. i'm definitely keeping the poem. it's actually quite a pretty illustration

I've always liked Dr. Foster&Smith......only thing.....whenever I try to oder things from their books that they send me, about a third of things I want to order, they don't carry anymore!

That was, indeed, a very thoughtful gesture on the part of Drs Foster and Smith.

I've ordered from them online and the biggest problem I've had is them switching brand name from what they show to what you actually receive. I ordered a dozen what I thought were Hagen food/water dishes. I got what I expected the first time. Second time, I got something that looked similar but the hooks on the cups were not stationary in place like the Hagen cups. It's not easy to hang one of those cups with the hooks wobbling all over the place! When I complained, they said that I could return them (my cost for return shipping) but I told them that was unacceptable because there was no notice that they had changed brands in the first place!
