Has anyone else read this book? I haven't been able to put it down...it's very sad in part (the horrible things people can do to birds (and each other) in the name of money! There's some pretty heart-wrenching images of parrot mills I won't forget...) and had me in tears a couple of times...but it's also very uplifting and moving too (the wonderful people who organize rescues, and some very close bonds between parrots and their humans). And the insights into parrot intelligence studies and possible evolutionary background was fascinating...I definitely recommend it.
