One Being, Two Bodies

Freyja and Odinn are brothers, hatched days apart, and a bonded pair. They've only got a few words between them... and added a new phrase to their repertoire.

Frey said "Thank" and Odinn said "You"

its only Odie's 2nd word. His 1st being when Frey says

"Sweet" and Odinn says "Heart"

(these are both favorite phrases of Benny and Koko)

Frey also says "Granny" "Freyja" and "Treats!"

Its very adorable. They're like one being in two bodies.

How old are they? I ask because my 2 brothers started out "glued" to each other and grew very far apart at about one year old. They tolerate each other but that's about it.

They're a few months over 2 years old.

Freyja and Odinn were very attached to each other when they were here, even though I hand fed Freyja and Odinn is parent fed. When I put them all together, something just "clicked" between the two of them. Kristi originally wanted just one lovebird and Sunny (Cleo's surviving mate) was the bird I was going to send. When Kristi decided that 2 lovies was a better choice, I couldn't split Freyja and Odinn so I sent them instead of Sunny. Sunny and Freyja are about as alike in appearance as 2 birds can get. Of the 3 Creaminos that I hand fed, Lily was the one who inherited a WF gene from each of their parents so her coloring is different (much lighter).

The lovies speak seldom... I could definitely get Frey saying "treats!" on tape once we get something to record sound with, cos he says it whenever I do, but aside from that its a very rare treat to hear them speak!
