First Vet Visit

What tests do you reccommend for a very first vet visit for the sun conure? I know that he needs a basic exam (gram stain, swabs,etc) but should I get bloodwork and if so what tests? He is being hand fed right now and will be about 12 weeks when I get him.
Please give me a list of the absolute musts when going to the vet for the first time.

Hi, they call it the well birdy exam, it's the gram, the avain panel, and the general exam, at least that's what I've been told. I'm sure others will weigh in. Someone just did a thread on what vet visits cost, you should check that too.
