I was just reading an older topic with title "Newly clipped, newly nice!" where owner of a lovie talks about her new nice behaviour after she's been clipped-My question is-does clipping changes their attitude? Or is it only in certain cases?

Clipping changes their attitude for sure! It's amazing sometimes the difference.....it even used to make Pip friendlier towards the other birds when I got him clipped. He tolerates hands alot more when clipped. See, lovies know when they have the edge of over someone or somebirdy! With those wings, they are fast as lightning and they know it! Once they realize that they don't have that edge anymore, they give in a little easier, and after a clip they're a little calmer and not so bold and mischeivous!
