I am finally back home and I actually think Cabo missed me! She certainly did the most unusual thing when I got home last night. I let her out of her cage and she jumped straight to my shoulder and proceeded to give me about ten rapid fire kisses in row. Cabo does not kiss. This was followed by a string of lovie curses which is typical Cabo.

While I was away I missed my birdies terribly. I went to every pet store in the area to play with the birds just to get my fix. I am happy to announce that none of them followed me home THIS time  I just hate leaving them so badly! The hardest part about being away is no birdie chirps!

I hear you on missing those birdie chirps!!!! Sounds like Cabo missed you as much as you missed her! She let you know she loves you and then told you what she thought about you not being there!

I was recently in the hospital for 3 days. When I came home, both my lovebird & my parakeet would not leave my shoulders. They attached themselves as close to my neck as they could, and preened my hair, and chirped and cooed for hours. As did I. I love them so much, it was so touching to see how much they missed me.
