It's been a few months now since we adopted Scooter and in that time he and Frodo have reached an uneasy level of ignoring each other when they're both out, occassionally scrapping a bit when one gets too close to the other, sometimes seeming to almost want to be friends...Well last night I put out their baths next to each other on the table, and they both jumped into their own dishes with great enthusiasm. Then...Frodo went waddling over to Scooter's much bigger dish and tried to climb in with him! He paused for a moment, then continued splashing around while she dunked her head in the water and preened. I was so happy to see them being so good together! Then, as they were drying off...Frodo jumped on my hand, pried loose the pearl from my favourite ring (a birthday gift from Ryan- he was not pleased) and attempted to swallow it. :omg: I guess you can't win all the time.
