hi all,

I have a pair of A. Fischeri in a large cage, if in the future i decided that i wanted more or they breed and i decided to keep them how many would be a good number before over crowding,
or will my pair not allow any others into the same cage?

I've kept 6 young birds in that cage, but if you have mature birds or pairs then i would stick to one pair per cage like that.

If I recall, your new cage dimensions were 110cm tall by 50cm wide, making that a cage thats only about 43 inches tall by 19 inches wide. ... Ok for one adult pair. ... Have you looked into "flight cages"? .. Unless you've taken into consideration vet costs and time, I would be very careful about breeding. ... I've known several poeple who have gotten themselves caught up in the throes of avian management, only to find they must now find homes for those they can no longer provide adequate care for. .. Re-homing in itself, is a whole new "unpleasant" ball game.
