They are at the point to where I can go in there cage and they will not freek out but if i go near them they go nuts. This is the point where I am lost what do I do next?

OK. They have realized that your hand in their cage will not hurt them, which is a very good thing. What I would probably do next is have something in my hand, like spray millet, that they really like and just hold it in your hand. With patience on your part, the next step, for them, is to trust your hand enough to come over and eat what you have. Another thing you can do is sit by their cage and eat. Lovebirds are social eaters and they will probably go to their food dish and eat at the same time they see you eating. Make sure you are sitting on the same side of the cage where their dish is located.
This can be a slow process but you're doing great with them!
