lillys first week

will i had my baby girl for a week now so i thought i update you on how she is doing. will she is still scared of my hand but she will eat millet from it. i talk to her though her cage. still trying to tame her i do not think it is working. i let her out her cage everyday. will this week am going to try to get her more tame and try to teach her step up. i can train her the same way that i train parakeets right?

Lilly is a beautiful bird. You must love her coloring! -- like tuti fruiti or confetti!

One week is a very short time for Lilly and she is still getting used to her new home. Be patient with her and she will develop trust as time goes by. The process for taming her will be the same as with a budgie. Just give her time and a bit of attention every day.

I had that same cage for Rudy, only he's now in a bigger one that he shares with Bob the parrotlet! It's a good cage.....pretty roomy, and Rudy always loved it!
She's a very pretty lovebird! Before ya know it, you won't be able to get her off you!
