guessing my lovie A is female

well this morning I saw lovie A tucking the twigs and papers he/she shredded in his/her feather and successfully put it in the nest box.. so is this mean that shes a female?? well lovie B she/he just chew and play with it.. im not sure to there gender and ill need to observe them more hehehe.. hopefully they are true pair ^^

I would say there's strong possibility that lovie A might be a hen but I've also seen some males that do a pretty good job with shredding and tucking. It's not a guarantee.

Well. .....Just a guess here....It sounds like their a male/female pair, but then again, lovie B could be a hen. Hmmmm.........:wink:

Finding an egg would mean that one of your lovebirds is a female. The gender of the other lovebird would remain unknown unless the egg/eggs laid turned out to be fertile.
