This afternoon, Tango suprised me by "flying" down from his cage to the sofa and sitting next to me while I was doing my homework. I happened to paging through my textbook, and he became very curious over the sound of paper pages turning. I put the perch near him and he hopped onto it, but just sat on it for a couple of minutes before he started looking at his cage like he wanted to go back, so I returned him to it. A few minutes later, he used the ladder that I have leading down from his cage to the arm of the sofa to get to the millet I had sitting there. After he munched for a while, he went back up the ladder to his cage. When he does things like this, I can't believe it's the same bird who sometimes gets so grumpy and bites at me.:( I know....I know....patience:roll:
