male tucking nest material

i was suprise this morning seeing my male lovie tucking the nesting materials like the female.. but unlike the female who really put the nesting materials in the nest after tucking some strips.. the male just go around the cage playing with the nesting materials under his wings and not putting it inside the nest box hehehe.. the male really mimic the female in tucking hahaha

I've seen male Peachies tuck nesting material in their feathers but they usually aren't as good at it as their female counterparts. Females are the nest builders. Males could usually care less!
