Teaching Lovies to Eat Out of your hand?

So I want to eventually train my lovies (they are 7 to 5 1/2 weeks now) to eat out of my hand. Has anyone ever taught lovies how to eat from their hand?

If so what do you do? I'd REALLY like to tame them down. I thought born in the home and touching at a young age would be much easier :-s

Ditto just did it all by himself. He flies over to his cage, grabs a snack and flies back to eat it from my hand.:happy:

I'm a bit jealous then lol

I don't know what the go is with my birdies. Maybe they are just young is all. Mum and Dad aren't supper social though...

I'm still hoping to figure this all out.:whistle:
