I hadn't checked the Eaglecam lately but it looks like either mom, dad or both have been sprucing up the nest! The first egg will be laid before March 10th so I will start to look a bit more often now. Looks like a bit of maintenance was done on the camera. I got a nice, clear picture today.

Excellent, I can see it now! I'll be sure to check back on it every so often.

I only see fuzzy black. Is there something else i need to do to see?

The eaglecam is in Massachusetts so it may be too dark to see right now. There's not much action unless you happen to catch the parents working on the nest. Check the photo gallery and you can see the last 48 photos that were taken today.

This is so interesting and I love keeping up with their progress. Been watching them for a couple of years. Thanks for the reminder, Linda. It won't be long......")

I checked again this morning and it looks like momma Eagle has the indentation set up where she will be laying her eggs. It wasn't there yesterday but it's almost noon here so I didn't expect to see the Eagles. You will usually see them early in the morning or later in the afternoon.

I'm looking right now and it's buried in snow! Looks like momma's gonna need a snow shovel.:lol

Once that first egg has been laid, momma Eagle will sit tight, no matter what Mother Nature has to offer! I've seen her faithfully sitting on her eggs while her feathers were covered with snow!

Last yr., the first egg did not show up until very close to 3/10 so we should be seeing something in the next couple of weeks. This is a favorite site of mine, as I think Bald Eagles are just magnificent!

I didn't have a chance to look at the cam today but I am looking at the last 48 pictures and for some reason, this time it's not pictures of an empty nest :)

Shoot!
The Eaglecam is offline for the moment. Apparently, there's a problem with the equipment and that equipment is right near the nest. :( Hopefully, it can be resolved. If not, we may lose video of this breeding season.

Linda, it has been off and on lately. You'll get a blue screen for a whil enad later the image will come back. I was watching it yesterday morning and the quality was deteriorating. Then come back to normal. I too keep my fingers crossed that they will be able to keep it running this season.

Oh! and there are now 2 eggs. The second appeared yesterday or the day before. :)

added: it's up and running now :)

I just watched momma eagle on her nest -- so sweet!

Can you imagine trying to correct a hardware problem around *her* nest? I think not! :omg:

I wouldn't want to do it.

It's working now. I just saw momma sitting on the nest.

The Harrisburg falcon cam is up and running now too. The falcons are not being shy either, caught them doing the swishy a couple times this week.

I can't wait to see the babies. Mommy's sittin' on the nest right now, and it looks pretty windy in there.

If you have not looked at this cam lately, there are 2 baby eaglets in the nest and they are visible all the time. They are too big for mom to sit on and they can move around the nest quite well! I watched mom feeding them yesterday afternoon. What an awesome sight!

No eggs yet. They don't normally come until around the 25th of march. good thing too since they're calling for a foot and a half of that stuff you don't like.

Hey everybody,

Check out this "real time" owl cam. I've been watching this for several days and it's amazing. The info. below the cam has not been updated since last year but these three babies are currently in the nest with their mom:

http://www.cs.csub.edu/owlcam/camera.php

And, here is another eagle cam, this one is in VA so they aren't dealing with that snow.

And....if you have all day, here is a great link to cams around the world:
