How old is old enough?

My babies are getting quite old now 11 weeks I think for the oldest two. I'm wondering when is old enough to let them go to a new home? :very_sad:

I will miss them but six cheeky buggers is just too many?

I'd still wait another week or so. I tend to err on the side of caution and I've found that even a week can make a difference in how young birds handle stress.

They seem to be really happy foraging around on the rug under the dinner table picking up the seed that have fallen out of their cage. :rotfl

I discourage floor time with all my birds. Too many have been stepped on because a human in a hurry didn't look down. My own mother is guilty of this and I will never forget the sight of the limp body of our parakeet after she picked up her foot but it was too late. Floors are no-nos at my house.
