out of breath after flight?

Hi,

I was wondering if Summer being out of breath after flight is normal. After a particularly long flight that lasts for about 5+ seconds, she opens her beak wide and gasps for air. I can feel warm air coming out of her mouth, though no audible sound is heard.

Other than that, her eating and pooping are all fine. Should I take her to the vet??

If everything else appears to be OK, it could be she just needs to build up her muscles a bit. Flying takes stamina and she may not have quite enough just yet. However, if there's any doubt in your mind, your avian vet would be the person to consult. How is her weight?
