Yoshi and Zazu will be meeting soon!

So it's been 27 days, so 3 more and the quarantine is over!
I plan on putting there cages beside each other (not touching though) I guess I should do this for a few days to a week....what good/bad behaviors should I be looking for?

If all is good behavior, then I will introduce them in a neutral play area to each other.

What good/bad behaviors should I be looking for at this poing?

Any suggestions?


A little update on Zazu: little stinker bites now, more like pecking but he does it. He does seem to be warming up as far as not running from me when I am changing his food and water. When outside his cage, he will come to me...at least to my covered skin. (shirt) All in all, he's making progress.

They finally got to meet each other. They seemed like they were glued to the side of their cages so they could get closer to each other so I let them out to have "play time" together. Yoshi seems to like Zazu a little more than Zazu likes him but they didn't have any squabbles the 15 minutes I let them play. If you notice in one of the pictures, my daughter is playing with a car beside them....Zazu is looking like, "Get that big ole' thing away from me."

The pics are so cute! I'm glad that their introduction went so well. I hope they will become good friends.
