Should I get a Lovebird?

I heard that they are queiter by themselfs and that they bond better. Will the noise penetrate through doors? because I can't give my roomate any reason to get mad over it.
extra: If you know anything about parrotlets, do they get along with everyone (my roomate)? Do they bond with you just as much as a lovebird? or are they more nippy and territorial? -thank you guys so much

lovebirds are great!
although i had one lovebird and she was so loud you could hear her outside.
but i just got another who is really quiet.
so it all depends on the bird.

It all depends on the bird. Some birds are quiter then other. Some lovebirds love being with their humans and being petted. Others will take your fingers off if touched. If your roomate will be bothered by loud chirps I would hold off on a lovebird til you are on your own.
