Opinion on buying outside aviary birds as pets?

I was just wondering what all you wiser forum members thought of buying a young lovebird that was raised in an outside aviary as a pet? Obviously they may be less tame than hand reared but I'm not sure about the health side, disease, worms, mites etc- would I be wise to buy one from an outside aviary in the future? Thanks!

Absolutely no problem what so ever. I find outdoor birds are more healthy if anything. More exercise, constant fresh air and a strong, tested immune system. I much prefer to buy birds that live in an outdoor flight.
