Well on the 17th January i saw Baylee was acting weird she was drinking too much water and was eating too little and falling asleep in the perch at 10 am and so i took her to the vet and had been treating her for the last 10 days , since in my country there isnt bird meds we give them dog's meds but in smaller quantities. Baylee is doing much better, on monday morning its her check up to make sure her lung infection is really gone. She had it on the upper part of her lungs, vet got an xray of it.

There are no medications specifically approved for use with birds so avian vets use meds intended for other uses (dogs, cats, cattle, humans) and scale down the dosage.

I'm glad to hear that Baylee is doing better. Hopefully, the infection has been cleared. Make sure you follow up with a probiotic such as lactobacillus.

oh ok i thought it was just in my country. I just asked the vet if there is lactobacillus here in my country and she said that yes. Just asked where i can get it.
