View Full Version : swooping
Both fids (Elmo & Chicken) fly around the house like maniacs.. but I always seem to notice that every time I or my mum walk around the house, they love to fly as close to our heads as possible. I know it's not a malicious thing.. (or at least I think it's not) but it's quite funny to watch, it's like a game of chicken. Our lounge room is a good 6mtrs wide.. it's not as if they don't have space to fly.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Ditto likes to play this game too. He'll fly in a straight line right at your face (aiming right between your eyes) and at the last second he'll turn away. If you duck he'll keep on going, circle around and land on his cage laughing at you. Then he does it again and will keep doing it until he gets tired or you stop ducking.

As you can see from my profile picture my head is a landing pad XD mine dont fly by they fly park and squabble over space XD
I feel sorry for your faces.. but I'm glad you get it too. I was beginning to think what is wrong with my fids? Are they blind or just stupid? hahaha.
It's quite hard when Elmo and Chicken decided to play 'chicken' together. Because not only are they trrying to swoop me, they forget about each other. The near misses I've seen...

Ditto knows exactly what he's doing. It's a game, he does it to make you duck out of his way and if you scream it's even better.
