when i get home at night i always open all the cages and let all the lovebirds out to play, ernie would always fly right over to his mom and start feeding her, now both pig and ernie go straight to her and take turns (or fight) to feed her, is this normal?

I've seen this happen before and I ended up removing the son because he got aggressive with dad. As long as everyone is getting along, you don't have to do anything.

the dad died about a year ago so mom is in a cage by herself and pig and ernie are in a cage with 2 other males, it is when i let them out to play they go straight to her and start feeding her.
