Hey everyone i had a question i have a pair of proven lovebirds but i realized when i put a nestbox out side Their cage they spend most of their time inside the nest box. Specially when i walk in the room. Is this a normal behavior? They sleep in side the box at night and inn the morning they would get in whenever they see me. Is this normal behavior for love birds?

I won't say that this is abnormal behavior but, personally, I like to see all my lovebirds out of their boxes during the day, even though I know it's probably not going to happen! I have toys in all cages so that provides some entertainment for my breeders but I've observed that some of them prefer to be in their boxes more than they are out, especially if I'm out and about checking on everyone. I try to see everyone at least once/day just to make sure there are no problems I don't know about.
