Okay so a couple days ago I got my hand on two baby lovebirds (weaned) and they're both very friendly, climbing on my hand with no fuss and all over me. They love to be together, but I was wondering, should I keep them apart (but in the same room) to try and properly train them? As I have nowhere else to keep them besides outside.

If they enjoy being together and they are still friendly with you, there's no reason to separate them if they get along well with each other. Attention and working with them is what will get you what you want, not keeping them apart. Lovebirds are very social so interaction with you and with each other is important for them.
