Do your (this is addressed at anyone) birds enjoy climbing around any baggy clothing you're wearing (sweatshirts, hoodies, jackets, etc)? Byrd really hates towels, he associates them with getting his wings clipped. He isn't too fond of any attempt to acclimate him to towels. This evening, however, I gently placed him inside my hoodie, and he just climbed all around inside. He didn't make a single noise, he just climbed around, stopping here and there. Came out for a bit, I put in my pocket, he poked his head out and climbed back onto my shoulder. I placed him in my hoodie one more time, where he continued to climb around again, eventually stopping and just chilling out. I put my hand near him so he could climb out, and he came out without a peep. Do you think this is fine, maybe something he would do on his own in the future with more encouragement? I certainly don't want to be forcing him into any sort of snuggling, but he didn't seem to have a problem with it. Just trying to teach him that he can climb around and play, there's more to life than simply sitting on my shoulder or computer monitor all day! Anyway, any advice/concerns are appreciated. Thanks!

Ditto loves to climb inside shirts. He'll climb up inside the shirt and out the sleeve. One of is favorite places to sit is inside the sleeve of my t-shirt with just his head poking out. Of course I look like an idiot walking around with my arm sticking out in front of me. :rotfl

One of my little females would live inside my shirts if I let her. The only problem is that if I make an improper move there is an immediate bite>: So she is discouraged from entering these dark warm places, it is just too painfull!

The lovebird we had for 17 yrs loved riding around inside shirts, and she was always curious about what was up sleeves (and pants legs too, sometimes!). Our new lovie seems to like running around inside our shirts as well, and cuddling inside a shirt when he's ready to take a nap.

Well, Beeb's likes to hang out up pant legs, and anyones pant leg will do. He also likes to hide in the closet where you'll find him tucked somewheres in between the shirt or coat section. .. Goof has a penchant for entering everyones shirt via the armpit or sleeve. Once imbedded there, you'll be hard pressed to remove him. .........:omg:
