Turns out my to be Lovie is a she :) does that mean she will be aggressive or is that not a given also will she ever eventually lay eggs or does that only happen with a mate

Not all hens are agressive and be sweet, depends all birds are different.
Hens will lay eegs even without a mate the best way to avoid that is take away anything shreddable and anything that can be used as a nest :)

I have a girl and she's the sweetest thing ever. She's very affectionate and likes to cuddle and give little kisses. I think it's all about the attention and love you give them, male or female.
Mine will be 1 soon and she hasn't laid any eggs yet.
