For quite awhile now Ditto has refused to eat the el-paso nutriberries unless I had it in my hand, and even then he'd eat half of it or so to humor me and go get something better. He'd go so far as to dig through the bowl to find every one of them and throw them out.

So I quite putting them in for awhile and tried again over the weekend. On sunday I put about 6 of them in there and now there is only one left.

Of course there were 4 of the garden veggie ones on the floor when I got home... >:

Mabey its a seasonal thing or each batch taste just a little different or more then likely its us forum members telling our flock to tell him to drive you a little crazy i mean you do work for the IRS! :rotfl

Yep. He changes every couple of weeks. But he's refused to eat the el-paso's for quite awhile now.

It's just funny I've had these same berries for so long they're almost out of date, and now he wants them. maybe he read the bag and decided he'd better not waste them....:rotfl

They don't expire until next year but only one bag left. Good thing he decided to switch. I ordered 4 more from that pet place but I got the last 3 and one on backorder!

Of course todays nutriberry toss was the veggie ones. Avi-cakes have been devoured however. I put 8 in when I get home from work and they're gone by the time I get home the next day.

Fortunately it's warmed up a bit so he's eating much less... Little bugger should weigh 10 pounds with all he eats when it's cooler...:lol

Well his love of the el-paso's was short lived. I put a bunch in the bowl last night and when I got home today the only thing left was the el-paso's.

I think I'll sneak one over to the couch tonight during tv time and see if he eats it then.

I wouldn't doubt it. He did eat one out of my hand tonight though. He'll eat anything from my hand watching tv....

Well he's still not eating many of the pepper berries but last night during tv time, he flew back to the cage, did his usual ring the bell and grab a snack routine and flew back to eat it out of my hand. And it was a pepper berry! :clap
