Feeding the Dittobird seems to be getting more difficult by the day....

His favorite food is still garden veggie nutriberries and he eats a lot of them. One bag a week.

Well he's down to one bag plus a handful so it's time to order more. Oops that pet place is out of stock! :omg: So I ordered 4 anyway and had to order 2 more bags from Dr.s foster and smith just in case....

However petsmart no longer lists them as online only so maybe I'll see if they have them in store again since he needs more of his zupreem harvest feast stuff anyway...

I've been running into similar problems with food for some.of my birds, too. My solution is to stock up on extra initially and then buy more when I get down to 2 of whatever I have in stock. I've never had to do this before but I need to know I have what they need. I wonder what kind of response you would get if you mentioned the problem to Lafebers.

well fortunately he's stopped wasting so much so it lasts longer.

That pet place was backordered once before. I ordered 4 bags and they only had 3 so the shipped those and the fourth shipped 2 days later so I doubt it'll be long. They sell a lot of stuff and get it in stock quick. But I got some from elsewhere just in case.

They're $4.77 from that pet place and $5.49 from Dr.s Foster and Smith.

Got 4 bags from that pet place for $25.51 including tax and shipping.

the sunny orchard nutriberries for lovebirds is 8.99, for the tropical fruit ones it's 9.99 which is a jump for the petsmart where I live. Tt's usually more expensive to go to petco but looks like it's about the same now. Lacey likes the avicakes better but they are about the same price anyway, lol

Ditto will soon be buried in veggie nutriberries. the 2 bags from Drs. foster and smith should arrive today and the 4 from that pet place shipped this morning and should be here tomorrow or wednesday.
