Pippin is 2 months old, he has just started exploring the water in his dish by dipping his beak in and flicking it around. I have a larger dish in there for him to bathe in with shallow water, but its winter here at the moment and quite cold.
The other day while it was warm, i got some tepid water and a dish and slowly dribbled the water int the dish in front of him, he seemed interested but wasnt keen to get his toesies wet.
Whats the best way to encourage a baby into the water in the cooler months?
Should i keep showing him the dribbling water? Can I try tepid or warm water and then put him in the lounge room with the fire (in his cage of course!)?
Im not sure how to go about it
Ideas?
