OK, apparently my birds can tell the difference between Green Giant brand peas and the store brand peas.
I just thawed out a handful of store brand peas and put them on a plate. After the first taste, they started throwing them. At me, on the floor, down my shirt, wherever.
Store brand peas must be icky.

Jennifer,
Apparently they can tell the difference, and they showed you just how they felt about it :lol

Frozen veggies? Ditto won't touch 'em. I've tried. Even green beans will go flying if they're aren't fresh.
The only way I can get him to eat the frozen stuff is to bake it in the birdie bread.

Green peas and corn are the only veggies I can get away with serving frozen. It's nice to have as a backup if I run out of fresh stuff.
