I Bought my lovebird about a month ago (his name is Harold), recently I had to leave my bird in the hands of my father for the week because I was out of town for a school trip. When I got back I found out that my dad had been taking him out and putting Harold on his shoulders. He kept telling me that it was fine and that Harold liked it but my bird still doesn't like hands an every time my dad takes him out he shakes slightly and stays in place. My dad keeps telling me that he'll get use to it, but I really care for my bird and I don't want to stress him out should I stop and take things slower or is my dad right?
