i need some advise, today when i came home and went to check on the birds one of the babies had gotten out of the nest box and was in the food dish, i am wondering if i should take the water dish out of the cage, i am lucky she went in the food dish and not the water dish, i have never really thought about this before, it has never happened.

Move the water dish to the opposite side of the cage just to be on the safe side. Chances are this baby climbed into the food dish and probably would not have done so if there were water in it but it's always best to err on the side of caution! You've got a cute adventurous one there!!!
