i cant find fake eggs, can i use old infertile eggs?

Try this site: http://www.dummyeggs.com/ If not, you can use small white stones that are about the same size but I don't know that I would use old eggs. I think you can also make your own fake eggs out of clay. If you search, I think BarbieH did a post on how to do it.

if i made them out of clay would i have to paint them, what kind of paint would you use? i would be afraid of them trying to eat the clay
