So when I'm giving little Fia an good old head and neck rub, she does this yawn thing. Almost like she is stretching her jaw. It reminds me a bit of the way reptiles loosen their jaws up, but she does it a lot, over and over when I give her a head rub. Anyone else have a birdy that does this? It's such a curious thing.

This is a positive thing, a reaction to what you are doing. :) I've seen this before and when they think you've been in one area too long, they move their heads to you can make another place feel good!

Yup, my Chuchu yawns too when I scratch his neck. He also shakes his head & turns his head to the other side to be scratched.:)

Max does the same thing. He also tilts his head in different directions when he wants me to rub the other side. Its the cutest thing :)
