I recently acquired two lovebirds [unsure about gender; I believe that one
is female and the other male, but I'm not certain] and I cannot decide on a name -
I'm terribly sorry if this doesn't belong here.

One is an olive mutation - who I think is a female - and the other is a green, I believe.
Here's a list of names I've "narrowed" it down to: [ones with 'x' I particularly like]

Pimento
Cilantro
Apple x
Candle
Idyllic x
Odyssey
Chickweed
Pomme
Ecrou
Feijoa
Satin
Lillypilly
Sapote
Lilt
Pistachio x
Winnow
Hibiscus x
Noni [pronounced no-nee] x
Quinoa [pronounced keen-wa] x

Congratulations on your two lovies :). They will bring you so much joy :)

Name choosing is really a personal thing. You have to go with what you like. When I got Max, I wasn't sure what to name him and waited a few days to get a feel of him and his personality. I then decided that Max suited him and I also wanted to name him after a saint and I thought St. Maximus was appropriate for my little lovie :)

Let us know what you decide :)

I've decided on one! c:

The one who I think is a male will definitely be Quinoa,
and I've asked all my family and friends and they insist
that the name Peppermint is prettier than Noni.

I feel so conflicted - it's just that I feel that Peppermint
is a little too long. :c Not to mention that I adore "exotic," cute
names.

Very cute names!

You'll find that over time you'll be calling them by different names...like, baby, honey bunch, sweet pea, little avocado...lol (Max is a double dark green lovie), angel, Maxie Paxiie...lol. These are just a few of his little nick names :)
