my lovebirds band has somehow gotten pushed up past his elbow, i can still turn it so it is not cutting of the circulation. any ideas on how to get it back down.

You can do one of two things. Have your vet remove it so it won't happen again. Or, you can gently straighten the leg and try to gently move the band back down. You may find that using a bit of coconut oil in that area before you try to move the band will make it easier to slide.

i tried the other night with olive oil and it didn't work, i will try coconut oil it that doesnt work i will need to check if i can find a vet that can remove it. thanks

That sounds like the best game plan. I actually had one lovebird that managed to get the band up under the feathers on her leg (thigh area) where it could not be seen. Skin grew over the band and my vet had to do a surgical procedure to remove it!
