DJ fills his own food dish...

Last night he dropped a bunch of his veggies to the grate. So I picked them up, put them in my hand and put my hand next to the bowl. He took each veggie from my hand and put them back in the bowl. :rofl:

that's so cute :) gizmo started doing that with an almond that he doesn't want at the time.. puts it in his bowl to eat later

Wish I could teach mine that trick. If they don't want it at the moment, it gets dropped on the bottom of the cage and usually forgotten about!

Well he did drop them again shortly afterward. I think he just wants me in to come over there.

Now if I could get him to pick them up off the floor and put them back we'd be in business! :rofl:

This morning he actually got a beak rub through the cage bars!

Tonight when I was filling the veggie dish I saw that the broccoli had a large leaf on it. So I put it in Mr. Eat Everythng DJ's bowl, wanna guess what he ate first? Yep the leaf! :happy::happy: Gonna try kale next.

Aw, how cute! My Chuchu doesn't like bells so when I first got him toys that had bells on it, he would take them off & put them in his water dish. So no more bells for him!
