Boris and Natasha, the pair of egg peeling/destroying Creaminos, finally decided to get down to business a short while ago and were sitting very nicely on 5 fertile eggs. The first egg was due Sunday and the second today. This morning, imagine my surprise to open that nest box and see two fluffy white chicks. Crops stuffed and nice pink skin and wriggling all about.
So who wants a Creamino?

If your going to TN how about a short trip to north Georgia too? I would love a little Creamino. I have sinking feeling If I continue I will need to take over one of the kids bedroom(hmmm the boys room is nice and big).

MJ, that is such good news! I'm sure it made your day to see two healthy, well fed, babies! :D

Janie, it definitely pleased me to see those babies fed and healthy, especially since the pair destroyed the other two clutches they laid. I'm very lucky. This makes the sixth hen of mine that is a good sitter and feeder. I can only hope the new hens and pairs are just as good.

Do you suppose that they simply matured? And quit peeling the eggs for that reason? I know it's a huge relief for you!

Not sure what it is Janie. I honestly don't know the age of these two as the people I bought them from called them Lutinos and they didn't know their age. Robin (as in RobinVZ) suggested to me after the last time Natasha destroyed the eggs, that maybe a different location would work. Shortly after that, we did move them and viola! ;)

Now don't forget to post pictures of those babies or Lori will be heading your way to get, I mean see them  I'd love another Creamino, but I'm trying to get one every color so one is enough ;) Lutino, huh? Yeah, she's a good breeder
