How old is your lovebird? What kind of food are you giving her? Diet could be playing a factor here. Unfortunately, we are not veterinarians here and the problem could have many different causes. Are there any vets within an hour of your location? If you lovebird has an infection, you will need medication for the problem.

Hello. I'm sorry your lovie is having problems. I'm going to chime in behind Linda here because I think she is on the right track. It's a good idea to have the vet check the bird. Also, what is the temperature of the room, is there a ceiling fan running or is the cage near a window or in front of a vent or anything that could be forcing cooler air right at the bird? If so, make sure she is in a place where drafts aren't hitting her.
What brand of seed are you feeding? Please be aware that seed mixes, despite their claims, are not adequate by themselves. Your bird needs fresh foods daily as well. It may take a while for her to warm up to veggies but eventually she will. Try introducing them from your hand (if she's used to treats), hang a kale leaf with a clothes pin in her cage. I have found that to be a sure way to entice my birds to try something new. 😄 Avi cakes and nutriberries and the meal bars made by lefaber are also good way to trick them into eating nutritious snacks. Berries like blue and blackberries are usually well received and do off some benefits. Shredded carrots are high in vitamin A. Vitamin A deficiency is a leading cause of birds becoming ill and and all seed diet doesn't pride nearly enough vitamin A. Green peas are also something they take to pretty quickly. But the key is in the variety so that they have a balanced diet. Zupreme pellets (there are other brands but mine prefer these) should also be added. Pellets make up about 1/4 of my lovies diet 1/2 I'd fresh food and the balance is seed and avicakes.
What size cage is she in also and what is it made from and what is the shape.
Please keep us posted!
