All three of them have taken baths in the last half hour (DJ took two) and it smells like wet parrot in here.
Not to mention wet carpet. who needs to shampoo the rugs when the birds will do it for me? :omg:

Three wet lovies is a LOT of wet feathers!! Feathers smell nice when dry but wet is another story!!! Hey, they are cleaning the carpet for zero cost and no labor.....just fun! Count that as a blessing!!! :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

They were so wet they were dripping. Opie and DJ were actually brown.
DJ's blue chest feathers really turn dark brown when wet. :omg:

That's what happens when they have nice size water dishes and LOTS of fresh water! Water has 2 purposes: bathing and drinking, in that order! :rotfl

Actuall 4 uses. Dunking and soup are also acceptable uses. Ask DJ, he's an aspiring chef.:rotfl

Ah, yes! I forgot about the dunking and soup uses...... Some of the creations are truly amazing! Nothing like finding a rehydrated carrot round or grape floating in the water!:omg:

DJ has figured out both of those. I could figure out where he got a grape until I remembered the raisins in the seed mix. I always find half grapes in the water. He eat's half the raisin before losing it in the dish.

Ayanna, my Pineapple Green Cheek Conure, loves to chew up bamboo toys and other shreddables. Dropping the pieces to the bottom of the cage is too easy! She thinks they need to get wet so they go in her water dish!

Fortunately nobody dunks toy bits. Only DJ puts stuff in the water dish. The O's stash food in the coconut.
